Judges 4
Jael

Have you ever heard a sermon about Jael? Neither had we.

Her story is hidden within the larger context of the book of Judges where this cycle is repeated seven times: the people of Israel sin, God delivers them into bondage, they eventually cry out to God for deliverance, God brings about deliverance through a judge, then the people enjoy a time of peace. Then they'd sin again and the cycle would restart - seven times! In the middle of one of this cycles, Jael is featured as a woman faithful to the Lord and courageous enough to step out of the box and do something risky that brought peace to the people.

The sermon concludes by offering three practical suggestions so we can make a big difference through stepping out of our comfort zones.
