Psalm 130
4 Hear Our Voices, Oh Lord

This is the last of the sermons in this series.
Psalm 130 is both a penitential psalm as well as one of the psalms of ascent. It begins with the psalmist at the bottom, crying out to God to hear him from the depths but it ends with a high note of confidence that God will redeem.

This sermon points out the four divisions of the psalm: lament, confession of sin, waiting on the Lord, and confidence in God's redemption. In the conclusion, four actions points are mentioned. The reminder we all need to hear is that waiting on God does not mean our voices go unheard by the Almighty. So, even if you're in the pits, you can cry out to God with confidence.
