Psalm 51:17

In this sermon, Pastor Wayne shares with us the necessity of spiritual brokenness before God. He does so by looking at the story of Naaman (2 Kings 5:19a) and by contrasting King Saul (1 Samuel 15) with King David (2 Samuel 12). Let us follow the example of King David, who wrote ""my sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise" (Ps. 51:17).

Brokenness is...

1. The shattering of my self-will

2. The stripping of my self-reliance

3. The softening of the soil of my heart
