4 Transformed Will

Are you a strong-willed person or not a strong-willed person?

In its most basic sense, the will is a person's decision-making ability. Being strong-willed or not is not in itself morally right or wrong, it's what you do with it. Both have their negative and positive benefits.

Looking at the story of Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, we see perhaps Jesus' most painful and difficult moment - saying yes to God and no to himself. Even Jesus, in some way we may not fully understand, had to submit his will to the Father's will. Or as Paul puts it in Philippians, Jesus "humbled himself and became obedient... even unto death." This sermon will offer three principles from Philippians 2:12-13 for transforming our wills, and concludes with four practical action points to put these principles into practice right away.
