Acts 2:42-47, 6:7
3 The Growing Church

The church was born small, but it has kept growing ever since.

The book of Acts and the New Testament epistles tell us that the church grew numerically (through people being saved), geographically (through Christians beign obedient to Christ's command to go into all the world and make disciples), and spiritually (people kept mature in their faith). This sermon will mention three specific characteristics of the early church that made Christianity attractive to non-Christians in the first century. The sermon concludes with two simple personal questions.
